Support has been provided with employee contract development, policy development, guidance on managing an under-performing employee and the introduction of an appraisal system as part of a longer term performance management improvement programme. The Company is also kept up-to-date with new employment legislation such as shared parental leave.



KenmareHR have been supporting a charity in a major project of policy development over the last 6 months. Creating and establishing a whole suite of appropriate employee policies for trustee approval as part of a wider project to develop the professionalism of the charity as it grows from strength to strength.



KenmareHR provided independent appeal hearing support for the dismissal of a senior director within a company employing over 150 employees in Devon. A complex case that required careful handling. Successfully handled and a tribunal case averted.

Company B rang KenmareHR to say they had dismissed an employee and were being challenged hard with tribunal action regarding no contracts of employment and no disciplinary procedures followed. An appeal was established independently to review the case. All aspects of the case were reviewed and in this instance the original decision was upheld, the employee did not go to tribunal.


Advice was given to the company and new policies and procedures established to ensure that any future situation of this nature could be handled correctly from the beginning.


Guidance and support was given on the requirements of maintaining accurate records, the establishment of contracts of employment and developing a simple training programme to establish some ground rules for employees about what looks good within the company. 


KenmareHR successfully supported Super Tramp Plymouth with the full on boarding of  25 new employees to a tight deadline.Fully engaged to provide job descriptions, marketing of the positions, selection of candidates using a tailored assessment day and formal interviews. Applications forms and all documentation and checks to ensure the best candidates were selected fairly were in place. We also provided all the administrative documentation including conditional offer letters and contracts. A bespoke Handbook was designed and issued to each employee. A full suite of employment polices and relevant documents were created.  All employees received an induction and were match fit from day one. KenmareHR now provides the retained service.


KenmareHR has successfully provided bespoke Leadership training to Senior Managers at Plymouth City Council in conjunction with City College Plymouth as part of a wider development program.



KenmareHR supported City College Plymouth to deliver Leadership training to South West Water management to the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) level 5 as part of a year long development program for their leadership team.



KenmareHR completed "Dignity at Work" training for 350 employees at Rittal-CSM over a 9 week period as part of a cultural change program.
